Galito’s , the new African restaurant in town. Looking at the history of the restaurant, it seems they have come a long way. So how is the food ? How is the service ? Is it worth it ? Let’s take a Detroit Food Safari look into Galito.
Its a shy little restaurant inside Vadapalani’s Forum Mall. You can’t expect a great calm space inside a mall. This restaurant is well decorated with live kitchen view like KFC’s. People over there are friendly and service is good too.
The restaurant has a good combo menu where you can get meal for two for 800Rs. For which you get two drinks and a starter and two main course.
The menu is unique with livers etc. Choosing from the menu was bit tuff, i felt like why don’t i like anything in this menu ? You see, you can choose only some items inside starters. And i kind of liked other items in the menu. I would be kind of nice if they dont have limitation on what item you can choose in meal for two.
I choose liver for starters along with Grill Chicken and Burger. And that was one the best grill chicken i have ever tasted. Juicy and hot. Two words to describe them. Burger was unique too, with pineapple inside. Tasted differently and i liked it. But i dont know how people eat burger this size. Its hard to fit it into your mouth. I am not a big fan of liver, so i am not going to comment into that.
